Becky is a GP Assistant – you may know Becky from reception. Over the last year she has undergone a training course to progress into the new role of GP Assistant.
Beckys role is a mixture between Administration work for the GP’s and some clinical areas.
When seeing patients in a clinical capacity, Becky will carry out ECG’s, blood tests, some immunisations and she will, over time, learn more areas.
Practice Management
Mark Shipston (Male)
Mark is the Locum Practice Manager.
The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology.
The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Catherine Spare (Female)
Catherine Spare (Cat) is the Assistant Practice Manager.
The Assistant Practice Manager assists & supports the Practice Manager in the day to day, smooth running, of the Practice
She is the direct line manager for the reception, administration and secretarial teams and assists the Practice Manager with all operational aspects of the practice.
She deals with complaints which may come into the Practice from time to time and any complaints should be sent to the surgery, in writing, addressed to her.
She also deals with all requests for medical reports, all queries relating to these should be directed to her in the first instance.
